His appearent knee injury, is actully, a torn anterior cruciate ligament.To save you the task of going to your dictionary, here's what it mean, anterior - towards the front, cruciate means cross-shaped, and you all know what ligament is.Docs calls it ACL. It sound filmilier to Minnesota people doesn't it? I think it's the same kind of ligament that Randy Moss tore (there were three of them), excpet, Michael Owen only torn one. If you still don't know what it means, ask your parents, and if your parents don't know, ask your family doc next time you go see him. I read some where that players usually need a good 6 to 8 months to recover from a torn ACL.Unfortunatly that's what happened to Michael. Life can be so curel.
